Our gluten-free collaboration with our friend Aran Goyoaga (Cannelle Vanille) is in our shops today! Cannelle Vanille's rhubarb crumble buttermilk ice cream is a creamy & tart spring treat. The flavor is made with organic and 100% grass-fed buttermilk from from pure eire dairy in Othello, Wa; organic roasted rhubarb from Mosby Farms; and organic buckwheat crumble fresh from our kitchens.
Also, while many people think that buckwheat is a cereal grain, it is actually a fruit seed that is related to rhubarb and sorrel making it a suitable substitute for grains for people who are sensitive to wheat or other grains that contain protein glutens.
