Our minimoons have been popping up all over the city from Washington State Ferries to Children's Hospital, and now we're launching ice cream vending machines in some of our favorite community gathering places, including KEXP and University Village. Each vending machine gives back 1% of its sales to a nonprofit related to its new home. We are so excited about this delicious new product and all of the awesome partnerships to come! The Puget Sound Business Journal wrote an article about this venture, see below for a sneak peek. Visit PSBJ's website to read the full article!
"Molly Moon Neitzel didn't want to open a new Molly Moon's Handmade Ice Cream shop this year because she was having a baby. But she still wanted to find a way to grow her business.
Last summer she discovered she could buy vending machines with freezers in them for less than $10,000.
That was just what she needed to bypass the $500,000 capital investment it takes to open even a small ice cream shop and still grow revenue at her business, she said."
