No Country For Mothers

On September 30, we're heading to SIFF Cinema Downtown for a screening of No Country for Mothers — a new documentary asking the question a lot of us have been quietly asking ourselves for years: why is motherhood so hard in this country?

We're co-hosting with Moms First, and after the film there's a panel with Reshma Saujani, our own Molly Moon, Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner (CEO, MomsRising), Karthika Shankar (COO, Rosie), and others talking about what real support for moms actually looks like — including a conversation on childcare here in WA, from both the employer and government side.

This isn't really a movie night. It's 500+ moms and allies in one room saying we're done accepting the status quo.
