Jennifer Ament's Marionberry Pie

March 5, 2026

"Jen has been an artistic and feminist hero to me for most of my years in Seattle. Her art screams self reliance, self reflection, and claiming our sometimes messy place in this world, but is also funny and joyful. Jen’s style just says Seattle to me — from the murals she’s painted all over the city to her paintings and framed prints I see in friends’ homes, galleries and favorite businesses. I can’t think of what this city looks like without thinking JEN AMENT!" — Molly Moon

Jennifer Ament's Marionberry Pie
Chunks of homemade marionberry pie with all-butter flaky crust mixed into our vanilla finished sweet cream base ice cream. Marionberries, a lush and rich sweet-tart PNW variety of blackberries, arrive from our local farm partner, family-run Sidhu Farms in Puyallup.

“I’ve had Whidbey Island Marionberry Pie at every family gathering for as long as I can remember, we pick them every July and it always remind me of the my home in the Pacific Northwest.”  — Jen Ament

Jen Ament is a multi-media artist who has created one of Seattle’s defining looks over the past two decades decorating our city with murals, but first working in printmaking and painting. Molly has always loved Jen’s work for being both extremely playful and irreverent but feminist, bold and with an evolving punk rock opinion. Through magical and illusionary motifs, much of Jen's artistic work involves exploring and coming to terms with some of the darkest parts of being human. Jen’s prints and paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States including Pulse Miami, and Out of Sight, and Seattle Art Fair. She is currently painting an AMAZING new mural in our Redmond shop and is represented by our favorite gallery: women-owned Spectrum Fine Art in Madrona!
