October Seasonals!

The weather is cooling, the leaves are falling, and if that wasn’t enough to tell you we are fully in fall-mode- pumpkin clove ice cream is back in our scoop shops! This molly moon’s fan favorite is the perfect balance of pumpkin pie spices, blended with fresh pumpkins from Stahlbush Farms that are roasted, pureed, and added to our ice cream for the perfect fall scoop! Cooking these perfect local pumpkins gives our ice cream an earthy sweetness and a complexity you won't find in many other pumpkin spiced treats this time of the year. Pumpkin clove ice cream is so beloved you’ll be able to get a scoop at any of our scoop shops including the Madrona walk-up window, as well as both Hello Robin locations!

October is inextricably linked to candy! If you get a little tingle of excitement at the sight of shelves stocked with Halloween candy, these next flavors are for YOU!

We start our homage to Halloween candy with our version of the best fun-sized candy bar you could conjure up. We’re calling it Milky Moon Bar- chewy mini marshmallows are enrobed in a snappy chocolate hardshell, then mixed into a rich and creamy milk chocolate ice cream made from organic Theo Chocolate, and layered with gooey ribbons of vanilla bean caramel. If you love chocolate and chunks, this flavor is for you. Get a scoop in a cone or bowl and top it with extra chocolate hardshell for that next level experience! All scoops shops, except the Madrona walk-up window will have this delicious flavor, in addition to both Hello Robin locations.

In the world of candy- one of the most iconic duos is chocolate and peanut butter. But did you know that all Molly Moon’s shops are peanut-free zones? They are! So it’s up to our chefs and ice cream makers to come up with creative alternatives to scratch that savory, chocolate-y itch! Sunbutter Cup ice cream is our answer to the infinitely craveable peanut butter cup. We combine sunflower seed butter and Theo Chocolate to create sunbutter cups. The cups are broken into perfect little morsels and folded into our delicious sweet cream ice cream that’s been lightly salted to bring out the nutty notes of the sunflower butter.

Our Vegan Strawberry Burst is an uncanny nostalgic flavor that you’ll be sure to recognize upon first bite! In the world of flavorful rainbow fruit chew candies during Halloween, there’s one that reigns supreme that everyone clamors for- that little individually wrapped pink square of strawberry flavored taffy! This vegan ice cream is a dead ringer for that fruity tart treat. There’s no tricks here, just a wholesome ice cream treat made from local organic strawberries from Viva Farms and rich organic coconut milk make for the ideal balance of tart and rich.
