There are few sweet summer treats more iconically American than the campfire s’more! During warm summer months, displays of marshmallows, chocolate bars, and boxes of graham crackers pop up in every grocery store to remind Pacific Northwesterners to grab these essential items to complete their fire pit experience. And it wouldn’t be a summer at molly moon’s without bringing our s’more ice cream into our scoop shops! Every year we make a smoky sweet ice cream base with dark caramelized sugar, toasted marshmallows, and a sprinkling of hickory smoked salt to really boost that campfire flavor! Heaps of rich milk chocolate ganache and buttery graham cracker crust are stirred into this delectable ice cream. This favorite seasonal flavor can be found in all of our scoop shops, including the tiny Madrona walk-up window. You can also snag scoops of our s’mores ice cream at both Hello Robin locations.

Another late summer specialty that shows up in our kitchens year after year is our peaches & cream ice cream. Our ice cream makers are cooking up giant pots of jam using peak season peaches from Collins Family Orchard, a 4th generation farm in Selah, WA organically growing a variety of fruits. Their incredibly juicy and fragrant peaches are the stars of this molly moon’s classic ice cream. After the peaches are cooked down into a thick fruity jam, we fold big ribbons of it into our sweet cream ice cream. Our peaches & cream ice cream is a dreamy pairing of pure peachy flavor combined with our rich high butterfat ice cream base. Every bite of this ice cream tastes like a mini summer celebration!

Two incredible local farms come together to make our delectable cornbread & honey ice cream. If you love a thick slice of cornbread with a big slathering of sweet butter on top, then you will go bonkers for this ice cream. The honey we blend into our silky smooth ice cream base comes from Robbins Honey Farm in Tacoma, WA that’s been in operation for 45 years. Our wild honey ice cream is studded with cornbread made from organic, freshly-shucked, sweet corn from Alvarez Farms, a favorite stall at our local farmers markets where they offer a wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables including 200 varieties of peppers! The cornbread is drizzled with honey butter before being cut into generous chunks and folded into the honey ice cream. Take a pint of this to share at your next picnic, and it’s sure to be the star of the meal.

Perfectly plump and juicy organic raspberries from Viva Farms in the Skagit Valley take center stage in this creamy dreamy vegan coconut raspberry ice cream. The berries’ bright acidity mellows with the richness of organic coconut milk making for an ideal combination that’s both refreshing and decadent at the same time. We cherish every opportunity we get to partner with Viva Farms. Since 2009 Viva Farms has educated over 700 small farmers (150+ Spanish speakers) in sustainable organic farming practices, contributing to and preserving sustainable farming within our local food system. This incredible plant-based ice cream is gluten-free and would make an incredible vegan sundae topped with our vegan chocolate hard shell, coconut whip, with a Chukar cherry on top!
