Time to Vote!

Check your mailboxes because ballots dropped today! This marks the 18 day voting window in Washington state!

There are some critical local initiatives on the ballot, including I-2109. We are voting NO on I-2109, and we hope you join us!

As supporters of quality, affordable childcare, we were excited when the State Legislature passed the capital gains tax in 2021. It brought in $900 million that supported child care and early learning programs. I-2109 would REPEAL the tax on our wealthiest community members (only 4,000 households in our state, total) who earn capital gains over $250,000 in a single tax year.

We are supporting NO on I-2109 with a gathering at our Bellevue Flagship shop this Saturday the 19th from 12-2pm.

And we'll be bringing back one of our favorite special edition sundaes just for the occasion: the Eat the Rich Sundae! Made with German Chocolate (let them eat) Cake ice cream, Deep Dark Hot Fudge, White Chocolate Pearls, Edible Gold Bling, Whipped Cream, and a Chukar Cherry. We hope to see you there!
