Support Spectrum Dance Theater

10% of proceeds from seasonal flavors benefit Spectrum’s Gift of Dance Scholarship Program

Join us in honoring Black History Month and Spectrum Dance Theater through purchasing a scoop of your favorite seasonal ice cream flavor. 10% of proceeds from our seasonal flavors for the entire month of February are being donated to Spectrum’s Gift of Dance Scholarship Program*.

“It is imperative that we support Spectrum Dance Theater! As a Black led arts organization Spectrum has been historically underfunded, and yet it persists to consistently put out incredible, moving, important art, and provides opportunity for dance and movement to all who want it. It’s a vital part of our community that we need to support so that it is here for the next generation of Seattleites.”

- Molly Moon Neitzel

The heart of Spectrum Dance Theater is its Executive Director, Tera Beach, a long time political organizer who, for decades, has passionately championed the essential role that the arts play in our community.

Tera and our very own Molly Moon have been walking side by side with one another in their efforts to make the world a better place for over 20 years through friendship and collaboration since 2003 when Tera was working for Congressman Jim McDermott and Molly was throwing concerts at the iconic Seattle music venue, Chop Suey, for Howard Dean’s presidential campaign.

“I’ve learned so much from Tera over our years as friends. About local and national politics, about growing up Black in Seattle, about how vital arts organizations are to our local community, and also how they work and where they need to improve. Tera is a bright star in our arts and culture universe.“

Please join us in supporting Spectrum Dance Theater and Tera Beach’s important work this weekend by stopping into any molly moon’s scoop shop for one of our seasonal flavors, or donate direct to Spectrum’s Gift of Dance program here.
